Affittacamere San Giorgio

The hotel was just great so close to the station, did not have lug bags everywhere. Clean, Bright and Comfortable. Excellent.

Very good value at this hotel. The only slight downside is the lack of any staff person onsite after 4:30 for check in and the need to make a phone call to arrange entry if you arrive after that. It is also important to know this hotel is in Manarola even though the address includes a reference to Riomaggiore.

Situated right in the centre of Manarola (not a big place to be fair anyway), Affitacamere San Giorgio has clearly been relatively recently refurbished to a high standard. The outside retains the faded charm of many Italian buildings, but inside is all super clean and modern marble and laminate floorings, and impeccably clean rooms. Reception is not 24 hours, but we arrived after hours and clear instructions were given on how to check in, with Simone helpfully providing his mobile number in case of problems, although there were none. We were given a very informative and useful guide to the town at proper check-in the next day, everyone very friendly and helpful. A few reviews have mentioned that you can get outside noise as it's on the main street but in all honesty Manarola is not a town with a crazy nightlife so you really don't need to worry about this - and if you don't get up at 7am when the bin lorries appear and the church bell starts tolling then you are really missing out on the best time of day in Manarola. All in all, highly recommended, and at a very affordable price too.

My stay with Affittacamere San Giorgio is a nice one. The hotel is right at the exit of tunnel, making it very easy to find since we arrived late. The room is spacious, new and comfortable. Simore gave us a good direction around the town and also the train schedule, thanks!

The room size and cleanliness is superb. Bed is comfort. Location is also good as it is right in front of manarola train station. It is a guest house so it has no lift which we understand, and the host helped us to bring our luggage up to the second floor. He also explained to us how to explore the area. As it is winter period, night time is very very cold, even though we have set the air con to 30C, the wind came in from the window's and door's gap. We used towels to close the gaps, it helped a bit. After a hot shower and wearing few pieces clothes to sleep, it felt a bit better and we managed to sleep well.

I arrived in Manarola for a 3 night stay to see the Cinque terra coast. The hotel is in a great spot near the train station and close to resturants/bars and shops. When i arrived, i experienced the best customer service i think i have ever had with any hotel with the hotel manager! He was extremely helpful with telling me where to go to start some hikes and told me places to take the best photos and to get the best food. I was extremely happy and pleased with the experience. 10/10 would stay again

We came here for our honeymoon for two nights and the staff, location, and everything was amazing! This was probably one of our favorite places we visited and the hotel definitely helped make our stay even more enjoyable! Would definitely come back to this place for sure =)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us all the information on the towns and where to get the best food. The room had an amazing ocean view and was a great room for the price. It was located in a beautiful town very close to the train station. Overall it was an amazing stay.

Room was a good size and Manarola a lovely town. Beautiful hiking in the trails above Manarola.
