"Beware of the Manager"

8.0

We went to this hotel because my friend read a raving review of the service of this hotel. Upon arrival, our room was not ready, and the manager asked us to give him ten more minutes for him to clean and assured us we could leave our belongings safely in his office. However, when we came back, my wallet was stolen from my backpack, and I lost a great amount of money. The manager claimed that I must have lost my wallet on our trip, but I had checked that my wallet was in the backpack, and I know for certain it was in there when I left it in the office. The manager's reaction was very suspicious. Before staying at this hotel, be very wary because I would not want this situation to happen to anyone else. However, if not for this incident, the hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the town was lovely. I am very sorry that we had this unfortunate experience.

"Bucket List"

8.0

This is not officially a hotel or bed and breakfast, I.e. it is a bright modern room with bath rented on a daily basis. If you don't expect your bed made room cleaned with fresh towels, but want a great feel of Cinque Terre, Manarola and San Giorgio (6 rooms) is the place to stay. Simone (male) is English speaking, friendly and helpful.

"Wonderful host,"

10.0

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Manarola with Simone at the SanGiorgio. He is the epitome of a gracious host, very helpful, friendly, quite knowledgeable about many different subjects. He knows the area and what he doesn't know he will find out in no time. I want to go back and will definitely stay in Manarola at the San Giorgio.

"Great hotel that is close to the train station"

8.0

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at this hotel. It had a great apartment feel. The room was newly renovated and was quite comfortable. We had easy access to the train station as it was just a walk from our front door. The only thing we didn't like was that we had to keep the room tidy ourselves as there was no cleaning personnel to do it for us. Also because it was close the train station, it was a little bit noisy. But other than that, I would stay at this hotel again.

"Wonderful!"

10.0

I had read lots of positive reviews about the hotel and was not disappointed! It is centrally located in Manarola which was the most lovely town to stay in. The building is historic but the renovations create a very contemporary feel. Simone was just wonderful! He showed us around town and really made us feel at home. Highly recommend!

"Great affitta camere in prime location"

8.0

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the guest house. Our room had a private balcony (the only one, I believe) and the bathroom without a doubt had the best shower and overall space across the four hotels we stayed during our 12-day Italian trip (which included four star hotels in Rome and Florence). Simone was great and very helpful in providing tourist information and even arranging restaurant reservations. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

"Great location, awesome service."

10.0

We stayed here last week and were more than pleased with the whole experience. First, location! it is literally 50 feet from the exit of the train station (Manarola) so there is no need to carry luggage uphill! Second, Simone is great, you get there and he will give you tips on how to see the towns plus he created an app that you can download on your phone and using while you are there. It has a lot of useful info. Our room was spotless, and well set up, everything new or recently renovated. We were in Cinque Terre for 3 days which allow for us to see all the other towns, Monterosso al Mare is the biggest town, In Vernaza you will get your perfect panoramic picture, but Manarola is by far the most charming one, with a beautiful beach that locals and turists enjoy from early in the am, small shops and great places to eat!
