It was a nice room , restaurant next door and the water out front 200 yards yet was quiet and comfortable! We met up with family the next day in Bar Harbor and it was a short drive from our hotel.

I would 100% stay here again. The town nearby was cute and sitting on my balcony I could watch the harbor while having my morning coffee. The inn is not high tech and modern, it has more of a classic feel (you get a physical key not a key card for your room) which was appreciated since I was there for hiking it fit the vibe very well. If you are looking for a nice view and a quiet location with quick access to the whole island than this is the place. The staff were a highlight, I had confidence that my room was clean and refreshed when requested, the pool was pristine, and they were all friendly and helpful.

The only real negative I have is the tub/shower was creaky when standing in it but that could have just been my room. Past that it would be a big plus to add ev charging on premise (especially free) for guests, it would have been a major selling point for me. There is paid charging at the harbor masters building but it is a walk and only two stalls.
