Castle Kauai Kailani

Simple yet beautiful condo. Nice view and so close to the ocean. The unit did not have any A/C but the fans and the natural breeze was perfect for our family since A/C in the evening gets too cold for our nose and throat. Unit is on the 3rd floor and we did not realize there was an elevator until the last day but exercise is always good. I did not read the confirmation email well so when we first got there, we didn't know where to check in and when we started walking around looking for the lobby, it started too downpour. But the walk to the front desk was short. The location of the condo was perfect, near grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. Sofa bed, like the average sofa bed, was sleepable but not as comfortable as the king bed in the main bedroom. Overall, the condo was perfect for our family of four.

Although you pay resort fees and a cleaning fee this property is serviced by another hotel and they charge you if they have to bring you towels, change garbage or anything during your stay. We only had enough towels for 2 out of the 5 days, paid for more towels and then they didn't have enough towels to give us. It also stated it was a renovated suite but the bathroom and bedroom were not, there was mold and stains on the wall. Being close to the water was great, but it needs better service.

Great place to stay! The staff did not clean up beach debris, garbage washed up. We expected a washer and dryer, but not all condos here have them. We asked for more TP and it never came. Everything else was clean and wonderful! This was a nice a quiet piece of paradise!

Great location. Limited parking. No AC. Near the beach areas

The room was well kept up and had all I needed to fix a couple meals. The Terrace was quite large with tables and chairs-we spent every morning there with our coffee. There were fans in all the rooms which kept the place comfortable-but there was no air conditioning. We could walk out our terrace and the pool was just a few steps away. The Property is well kept and quiet.

Most everything about the suite was excellent, and location was fantastic. Suggestions would be a) better cookware, e.g. a nonstick skillet, b) the addition of a full length mirror or ANY mirror in addition to the bathroom mirror, c) because airflow is necessary on hot days, the bathroom & bedroom windows could use more privacy, and d) description of location of ISO could include "next to Bullshed Restaurant for easier check-in. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay immensely, the suite was very clean and comfortable, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

It was pretty good. It’s just that the room don’t have an AC, the weather was kinda hot that day. I think it will be much better if they will provide an AC. Overall was great, but I don’t think I will recommend this to my friends.

The week that we were there was very humid and warm. This is the sixth time we visited Hawaii but the first time booking an unconditioned room. The fans barely worked making our comfort difficult. By the third day of a week long vacation we were contemplating leaving early.

Beautiful view, quite and relaxing. The staff was really helpful.Clean with comfortable furniture. Close to stores within walking distance.
