Hot springs access available from 3:30 PM to midnight.Reservations are required for massage services and private bath/onsen. Reservations can be made by contacting the ryokan prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation. The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file. A fantastic ryokan experience. We had a delux room with private bathroom. Slept on mats on the floor which was surprisingly comfortable. The onsen offered 2 small hot baths covered and open to outdoors. Breakfast was amazing, offering Japanese and American style cuisine. Had difficult time finding restaurants for dinner, not many choices and they fill up early. Walkable to most sights.

Staff and facilities were excellent. The food we were served was very delicious and fun and providing a copy of the menu for us to photograph allows us to go back and translate to understand some of the food we did not recognize. The rooms could probably use a little updating but this did not disrupt our enjoyment of the short stay.

Would recommend a stay here. The room was comfortable with good views and a great ryokan experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the kaiseki dinner here too. They also have indoor and outdoor onsen.

Beautiful hotel, ideally located for visiting the shrine area. The service was warm and attentive; the onsen facilities were very nice. Highly recommend this hotel!!!
