Pier House 60 Clearwater Beach Marina Hotel

8 nights. Getting my room cleaned seemed to be the biggest issue. Getting back to hotel most days at 5 pm to see dirty towels and bed not made was very upsetting. Front desk’s told me housekeeping left for the day! This happened a few times during my stay. The few days they did take the dirty towels they would not refill the toilet paper, or leave more soap or shampoo. They never cleaned the soap dish my entire stay. I complained to front desk numerous times and would get I am sorry! I recommend you bring your own cleaning supplies with you!! The best part of this hotel is the location but the Hilton, Wyndham , and Hyatt location is just as good

I cannot say enough about the front desk, Gina went above and beyond. Our room was awesome from the view, the bed, the shower and our overall service we received. We have always gone to Clearwater in Feb, but this was our first time with Pier 60. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay and the Gulf. Our room was perfect! If I had to say one thing that we wish was different would be the pool not being in the sun but that is only because of the time of year we chose to go in and no fault of the hotel. Top floor was Jimmy's. We went up there one time to try it for diner but unfortunately, they were only serving drinks that night. I am not what their schedule is for the restaurant. Thank you, Gina, Mr. Kelly and the whole staff.

The TV situation was TERRIBLE!! Breakfast was not as good as last year. Not enough eggs, if at all.

I stayed at Pier 60 Clearwater Beach for a family emergency and was extremely disappointed with part of my experience. While some front desk staff were professional and helpful, the interaction with the bartender and the general manager on February 17th left a bad taste. When I attempted to pay a $30 tab, I was asked multiple times for my credit cards in a condescending manner. Despite my cards working, the bartender struggled with the payment system. When the GM stepped in, the same card that was “declined” magically worked immediately — an interaction I recorded. This experience gave the impression of racial bias, as I highly doubt a white patron would have been treated the same way. I am a Black professional and a doctor currently working with the FBI, and I found the behavior unnecessary, unprofessional, and stressful during an already difficult family situation. While the GM attempted to address the issue, he was dismissive and walked away during the conversation. Two things can be true: some staff were courteous and kind, but the bartender and the handling of the payment issue created a negative and unnecessary experience. Unfortunately, this completely overshadowed the positive aspects of my stay, and I would not recommend this hotel for Black patrons or Black professionals at this time. Summary: Positive interactions with some staff were erased by poor service and racial undertones. If management wishes to address this, I would be willing to provide recorded documentation.

Pier House 60 Clearwater Beach Marina Hotel is in the perfect location—just steps from the beach, with plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance. The view from our balcony was stunning, and the highlight was Jimmy’s Crow’s Nest on the top floor, which offered exceptional views, great drinks, and tasty food. The staff was warm, welcoming, and a pleasure to interact with throughout our stay.
