The staff was particularly warm and welcoming. We loved taking a refreshing swim and relaxing by the elegant pool, after an exhilarating day of cave visits. While out by the pool, they served us delicious cocktails, that included their house made limencello. There was also a wonderful second-story library, where my husband was able to make a work call to the US in privacy and silence. The room and queen-size bed were spacious and comfortable.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The hosts were very accommodating and pleasant.

Beautiful hotel run by Ruud and Jan, they are great hosts, very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable of the local area. The rooms are all different and have great character . Their food and wine is delicious, we would recommend eating in at least twice! Would stay again!

Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Garten samt Pool sehr liebevoll. Das Frühstück war sehr erlesen und mit allem was man braucht. Die Besitzer sind außergewöhnlich nett und sympathisch! Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Friendly reception, good restaurant, staff were very helpful and obliging. Location was central to all our cycling adventures.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for six nights and had a fantastic time. Cro-Magnon has a lovely feel and has been tastefully styled by the owners to make it a special place. The owners, Ruud and Jan work tirelessly to make your stay feel very individual and their level of customer service is exceptional. The food in the restaurant either at breakfast or dinner is delicious and is sourced locally. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent, beds were comfortable and the owners were fabulous.
