Le Cro-Magnon - hôtel - piscine - climatisation

Jan and Ruud were wonderful hosts. From carrying our bags up to our room, providing a safe place for our bikes and making reservations for dinner at nearby restaurants, one couldn't ask for better service. The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also fantastic.

Staying 5 nights with friends, this Hotel/Restaurant run by Ruud & Jan is an amazing, intimate jewel. Where to start?Summarise (or the review will be too long!): - rooms: clean, very comfortable, great shower 👌 - breakfast: perfect with Ruud delivering great service with perfect/fresh food 👌 - restaurant: simply the best food prepared by chef Jan with good wines and the hotel’s home made ‘Limecello’ (made from Limes) of which we drunk a little too much maybe👌 - service: nowhere have we received better, these fellas are naturally gifted hospitality providers, so many smiles and so much laughter👌 - location: perfect for touring the beautiful Dordogne area from the lovely small town of Les Eyzies. Those wishing not to drive can travel there by train with the town rail station within easy reach of the hotel👌 If we are travelling back to the Dordogne area we will absolutely stay again!

朝ごはん　晩御飯　とても美味しかったです。チェックインなどの対応もとてもフレンドリーで目配りが行き届いてました。部屋も適度に広く、角部屋だったので明るく良かったです。

お部屋にコーヒーやお茶のセットがあれは更に良かったです。今回は3泊ゆっくりだったので部屋にいる時間か長くてそう思いました。頼めばくださったのかもしれませんが。

A very nice and clean hotel. The stuff is kind and friendly. Very good breakfest and wonderfull restaurant. I recomand this hotel.

A magnificent place to stay for excursions to the nearby caves and paleolithic sites and for relaxing in Les Eyzies. The owners could not be more kind and attentive - they even arranged to take us themselves to a site in pouring rain when no taxis were available. The restaurant cuisine is high class, the breakfast is selectively delicious, while the location just five minutes walk from the village centre is ideal. The building also has character.

The front desk has restricted hours, but that was no problem for us.

What a find! I spent days looking around the area for a hotel that would suit our requirements. The Cro Magnon looked interesting and hence a booking for Three Doubles for five nights was acted upon. Before our arrival, I had many questions and all were answered within a few hours. On arrival at the hotel we were met by Ruud, one of the owners. We met Jan, Ruud's Husband later in the day and both Guy's were brilliant. The hotel is well situated in easy reach of other restaurants. Why you would want to go elsewhere when the food and service is top quality at the hotel! The ambience of the hotel is superb in all areas. Great rooms, dining room and the outside area is outstanding. Didn't use the swimming pool but it did look inviting. Ruud and Jan have and still work very hard to make your stay a memorable one. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and will hopefully return soon. Last but not least, their homemade Lime hello is nectar!

What a beautiful hotel. The owners are superb. Food and service is excellent. 11/10. The room was large, bright and very clean.
