Location in the middle of the tea plantation. Beautiful idyllic tranquil setting with former colonial family home turned into boutique hotel

Unfortunately understaffed at breakfast. Only one waiter serving all tables at breakfast during the busiest time 7-8am. I would recommend most of breakfast is provided via a help yourself buffet (other than hot food) so those who need to rush to catch the scenic rain don’t have to wait 30 minutes to get served.

Absolutely stunning location! The views are insane, and most of all, incredible hospitality. Unfortunately I was feeling a little under the weather, and they were so kind and accommodating. What is more, I let them know beforehand that we were celebrating our honeymoon and they made so many personal touches, including rose petals on our bed, a special candlelit table, a congratulations cake. It was so thoughtful and very much appreciated! I wish we were able to stay longer. The grounds are immaculately kept as well. Dinner was also lovely. I would highly highly recommend this place. The staff were nothing short of amazing, every single one of the of them! I'm terrible with names but the head of guess services was amazing. Thank you to everyone, endlessly.

Wir haben unsere Übernachtung eine Stunde vor Ankunft gebucht. Trotzdem war man bestens auf uns vorbereitet. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und extrem bemüht. Man wurde vom Hotelmanager persönlich begrüßt. Wir waren in unseren Flitterwochen und trotz kurzfristiger Buchung war alles mit Rosenblättern dekoriert, auch der Tisch für das Abendessen. On top gab es sogar noch einen Kuchen als Überraschung. Die Zimmer und das ganze Haus waren sehr sauber, das Gelände sehr gepflegt. Und das Essen, insbesondere das Frühstück, sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Wir kommen hoffentlich wieder.

The hotel is amazing, with a beautiful location and a fantastic swimming pool. We really enjoyed the opportunity to walk through the tea fields. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, everything was freshly prepared using local ingredients. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

Fabulous jams at breakfast- on site spa was good

No fridge in the room - only 2 channels on the TV tennis and badminton courts were not useable ground wet and muddy.

An amazingly beautiful traditional property set high on the hill overlooking the valley. Service was impeccable and the property in all aspects was first rate. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the hotel and also an amazing breakfast .

Wunderschöne Kolonial Villa, gemütliche Zimmer mit Blick auf die Teeplantagen und ein Service, der einfach wow ist. Da das Hotel fast 10 km von der Stadt entfernt ist, ist es empfehlenswert, das Zimmer mit Frühstück und Dinner zu buchen. Sowohl Frühstück als auch Dinner werden a la carte serviert. Alles sehr stilvoll serviert, man fühlt sich wie in einem 5 Sterne Restaurant. An meinem Geburtstag hat das gesamte Team mir HAPPY BIRTHDAY gesungen und habe eine leckere Torte bekommen. Hier fühlt man sich wie in einer anderen Welt. Das Hotel ist definitiv zum Empfehlen.

Absolutely beautiful location, staff were fantastic as well. Breakfast was nice and they have their own coconut jam that is simply the bestest thing I have tasted ever! Grateful for the chef giving us the recipe!!

The rooms were nice but bathrooms were a bit outdated and there was a smell in ours (like a damp smell), however this is expected due to the location and being so high up.
