TLV 88 Sea Hotel

No lift. Room smelt musky. My husband could not fit into the shower it was so small

Great trip to Tel Aviv. Small hotel with superb restaurant, centrally located, right across from beautiful beach. Rooms are small and bathroom is tiny but nice and our room (203) had a view of ocean. Smaller older property but well maintained. Highly recommend.

1. Building is 3 stories high. My room was on the top (third) floor. NO ELEVATOR!! Had to carry 4 suitcases up. 2. While we were there it rains and the ceiling leaked water in my suitcase and coach. 3. Shower glass door not sealed lots of water out on the floor. 4. Standart safe in closet on a high shelf. "safe" was not bolted to wall or shelf - anyone could simply walk out with it.

They overbooked my reservation and tried to cover it up and make it my fault. There is no actual reception area , just a small desk in the restaurant downstairs of the place. And the receptionist, who is sitting sideways to you. I still have that email, which states that my reservation is confirmed to this hotel, but they said it's a mistake, and I should of call the hotel myself, not to believe the booking sites.

The front desk is in the bar which is very noisy. The penthouse is next to the roof was not penthouse quality. The AC did not work, badly insulated walls. You could hear everything. And the bed looked like it may have had bed bugs. Needless to say, I didn’t stay and lost my money as the hotel would not refund. It has a hostel feel at expensive price.

Everything was excellent. Room was small and bathroom lacked adequate lighting. Restaurant was superior

The rooms are bad, refrigerators are not functioning, the floor is dirty, furniture are chipped,dirty,not matched seemingly purchased from a second hand store. Their version of boutique style is distorted. There is no lobby only a 3x3 ft. corner to check in. Breakfast is included. Overall, a very unsightly place to stay for vacation. It is better to stay home. The picture in their add and discription is distorted. BEWARE!!!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is outstanding. The view from the sea-facing side is one of the best that can be found in a moderate-priced hotel in Tel Aviv as there is a park across the street and unobstructed views. The hotel is comfortable but not modern and shows signs of age in the bathrooms but is well cleaned each day. The only downside for me as a relatively light sleeper was that there is a good bit of traffic noise on HaYarkon Street below. Overall though, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The only real problem was the noise from the street. In general we We’re happy with our stay at TLV88.

Great staff , excellent bar , good free breakfast everyone very kind and helpful.
