Fantastic hotel - would thoroughly recommend.

Hotel La Place is one of our favourite places to stay on Jersey. The hotel itself is beautifully located amid tranquil countryside, near St Aubin. The staff are really lovely and very helpful. The rooms are extremely well appointed, clean and comfortable. In the room we stayed in, my only issue might be that the room got very hot and there wasn't, as far as I could tell, any air conditioning. There is a lovely pool that is central to the hotel, overlooked by many of the rooms, which you can use at your leisure. I'd wholeheartedly recommend La Place to families and couples alike. I'd say the clientele when we started were mostly couples in their 60s or 70s but there were also a few families. Not too many kids, it seemed. We ourselves are still (just about) in our 40s. Hopefully we'll be back again soon!

This is a very comfortable hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. I would particularly mention the cleaning staff - our room and all the communal rooms are very clean and tidy. The food is good. The pool is not heated, except for a few months over the summer: this would be our only slight criticism as most guests were of the opinion it was too cold to use.

Beautiful Amazing hotel, the staff were amazing, everything was beautiful, the food was excellent, it’s the nicest hotel on the island.

Absolutely loved it. They really made us feel welcome. What a wonderful stay and we’ll return again soon. After all, we only live on the other side of the island!!
