Lucky Mother Bungalow Chaweng

Dont trust the pics. I booked a room for 20$ and when I got there they gave me a room without a/c. Just a fan!!! I payed another 10$ pernight for the room with a/c. Then I noticed the room doesn’t have any safe box!!! I called the reception and they tol me I should pay more for the room with safe box! After all of the room changings my room didn’t have a refrigrator. The sheets had stains on it and the towels were so old.

I stumbled apon this place by exploring. Great value, fun location and the family owners are super inviting. Always a nice ocean breeze. The Best Thai massage on the beach! 300bht! Lots of pets roaming around. Can't beat the price. And the night bar is tons of fun!

Lucky Mother Bungaloow is a good spot to stay if you like to be close to the action of Chewang Beach.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und ist in einem guten Zustand. Allerdings ist die Lärmbelästigung enorm. Flugzeuge, Musik, Personal kehrt um 6 Uhr morgens die Anlage plus penetrantes Katzengejammer in der Nacht und Geruch nach Katzenurin. Der Ort hat chaweng ist hässlich und laut. Die Strände sind überfüllt und schmutzig. Die Restaurants sind schlecht und teuer! Nervige und sehr aufdringliche strandverkäufer. Das einzig schöne an diesem grässlichen Ort ist der nachtmarkt.

I was recommended Lucky Mother from a friend and wasn't disappointed. I loved it here, not just because of the many cats. The bungalows were quiet, despite being really close to all the major restaurants and bars, they were immaculately clean and really comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful as well. I'll definitely be going back next time I visit Samui.

Perfect location on Chaweng beach and for the main street. This hotel feels spartan and low key, compared to many of the big resorts in the area such as Combo and Ark, which are newer and fancier -- and both very close so I visited them often. Bring mosquito netting. Very friendly staff. At night there's reggae music at the oceanside. I liked the place so much I extended my stay twice.

I Dont know why this hotel got so many bad reviews at all. Its clean, cheap, nice and cozy.. perfect location right on the beach and at the same time right in the middle of the main road with alot of restaurants and bars. Yes the owner got alot of cats laying around, but since when is cats a problem? They are really cute and nice cats who dont disturb anyone.

staff not friendly, we were upgraded to an aircon room and had to pay for it, first room had aircon dripping water in the room, they changed room to an even worse one, I regret telling them as I could stick with dripping water instead. chaweng beach as a whole is a place I would not recommend at whole. or actually samui.

The value for these moderate bungalows is incredible. For the price of one night in the resorts you can stay a whole week at Lucky Mother and be right in the heart of Chaweng beach the entire time. Pros: Location, price, easy check-in, great bar at night, massages on-site Cons: No beach sitting area, very close to Ark Bar which pumps out loud music til 2am. Highly recommended as the best bargain we have found on our whole trip. The price point is fantastic and the location cannot be beat.
