Views were absolutely breathtaking! Very relaxing, off the beaten path spot. Cabins were very simple but sleeping in the ocean breeze with the sounds of nature was just what I needed. Met some other cool campers there. One of the most beautiful beaches I have seen within 5 minutes walking distance. Dick and Dawn were helpful, friendly and always available. Definitely going back.

This property was super cool! It's definitely a type of glamping experience, Dick and Dawn are super sweet and are very welcoming I had a great stay getting to m ow the guests as well and the area was beautiful. the outside kitchen is a super cool experience to cool outside and enjoy the nature. They had your own cubby full of your own utensils and shared pots and pans for guests just had to hand wash dishes! They had a refrigerator section for you and food cubby's in your room. It's screened in well, this is definitely for an experience so I saw it was worth it. The Beach on the island is very nice and we saw tons of sea turtles and some sting rays on the beach near by the restaurant at the beach was good and so were the drinks that's all we ended up trying during our stay! The last ferry onto the island is at 6 pm so that's good to note you have to catch it by then.

Wonderful, unique experience! They have just what you need to enjoy this charming little island. The view is spectacular, looking back to the east over a bay towards the Marriott property. Get up early and be rewarded with one of the prettiest sunrises you'll ever see. Top notch communication from start to end, and the hosts provide VIP level service with a personal touch. If you consider staying here, take time to read about the property to make sure expectations are aligned. We enjoyed Honeymoon Beach every afternoon, and it is the ideal beach for younger children, with soft sand, calm waters and shallow depths. Go early and youay even see a few sea turtles and rays. Limestone Beach can be hiked down to quickly and provides for exploring. Not at all a swimming opportunity but can see different wildlife. Its another great spot to watch the sunrise. Finally, Fort Segarra at the south end provides a bit of history to go with 360 views of the area, and a great vantage point at sundown.

I randomly picked the campground for our USVI trip but we loved it!! The water island was like a hidden gem. There were beautiful beaches and nature and we were so glad we stayed in this tiny island. Dawn and Dick was so nice and took care of all the guests, so we didn’t have any problems. The treehouse we stayed was clean and comfortable, the kitchen and the bathroom were always clean too and we made a lot of good friends there. If you haven’t had a real camping experience but you love the nature, the virgin island campground is the spot! P.S. We booked a snorkeling tour in St. Thomas but I actually could swim with 3 turtles everyday at the honeymoon beach!

The VI Campgrounds is a special place that we’ll remember always! Mark and Lori were exceptional hosts and immediately made us feel welcome! The campground is a unique experience with a shared kitchen pavilion and bathroom. Don’t let this be a deterrent because the connection with other guests is actually part of the unforgettable charm! Only second the amazing view and ceaseless sounds of the ocean.

From the moment we got off the ferry at water island we were greeted by Dick who was there to pick us up to take us up the camp ground hill he was very nice and when we got to the ground we met Dawn who was the sweetest. They explained to us the amenities on the camp ground and showed us up to our room. Our “treehouse” was the coolest with the view of the ocean water. Now I’m not sure why there has been bad reviews because the 3 nights we were here was nothing but tranquility. I was able to gather my sanity back :). All I have to say.. if your not an outdoor person this isn’t the place for you. You would have to love the outdoors for you to enjoy. We will definitely be coming back the locals were the best people you could possibly meet.
