OYO 1046 Noppharat resort

Bon séjour, établissement propre mais qui commence à montrer des signes vieillesse.

Hotel confortable cadre verdoyant tres accueuillant. Chambre spacieuse clim,wifi gratuit qui ne fonctionne pas bien. Salle de bain vieillote. Mais en général hôtel satisfaisant avec navette gratuite pour aller au coeur du centre ville. Personnel sympa. 7.5/10

Wonderful resort hotel in beautiful surroundings with lovely staff. Pool area of the hotel is very nice. Very reasonable price for the cottages. The peacefulness depends on other guests staying in the resort, because the cottages are not very sound proof. It is a small place, maybe 20 cottages and you will hear everything happening outside. There is a Muay Thai gym close by and you can clearly hear the training and especially fight night noise inside the cottages. The location is a bit off from the Ao Nang centre, maybe 5 minutes by motorbike. You can rent bikes from the hotel 200 baht/day. The shower does not have a shower curtain so the whole bathroom floor will be wet after showering.

10 mins walk to the Nopharrat Beach The resort is nice with garden feeling with a small swimming pool. The only turn off is the resort is next to the boxing ring so it will be noisy during the weekend when there is a match. Overall, the resort provide tuk tuk service to aonang area(burger king & McD) every half and hour, so its quite convenient if you do not want to walk all the way to aonang. The staff are friendly and accommodate to our request quite frequently as we stayed there 4 nights.

We stayed there in high season December 2014 for 3 nights. The rooms and the resort was kept clean and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was nothing special. No bacon or pork sausages/hot dogs on the menu, and you can buy beer, alcohol on site as they are Muslims. The location was good, only few minutes walk to the main road and the beach. There are plenty of places to go for nice food. Our favourite was TALAY BAR on the main road of Noppharat beach. Yummy food and great music by Pich and his wife. The resort, they have a free shuttle service which takes you to Ao Nang where there are shops, bars & restaurants. Overall a nice place to stay. You're guaranteed to get good for night sleeps. We're back there again next month. Can't wait!

A bizarre experience. For a start it looked nothing like the photos, and we never did find the pool. The room was incredibly basic and we felt overpriced at 1,500 baht for one night considering that there was no hot water. It felt like a ghost town there, we must have been the only people staying as we never saw anyone else! The room absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke which was ironic considering they had no smoking signs plastered on the walls. All in all a bit of a joke for the price considering how simplistic it was.

We had a pleasant stay. The bungalows are nicely located in the beautiful garden and the pool looks good, too (we had no time to use it). The hotel is in a 5-10 minutes walking distance from the beach. The beach changes its appearance with the tide and is perfect for walking, but also offers shade to relax, read or sleep. It is not crowded at all and you can buy food, ice cream and drinks at small restaurants and shops close buy. The free hotel shuttle was great and the breakfast was good, especially the pancakes and fruits.

Host was very friendly. We are able to book an island tour through the host for a discounted price. Also was able to rent a scooter for the day at a discounted price. Host was very accommodating.

A nice spot to unwind relax and get out of hustle and bustle city to a quite, relaxing spot.

The hotel is close to beach but its far from the main tourist spot. It will be best if you can rent a bike to travel to the town.
