was good stay, only one room in hotel was drunken loud Russian tourists but we told reception and problem was sorted

Pros: friendly staff, nice swimming pool, free transfer to Ao Nang "town center" every half hour Cons: the window sliding door does not close fully so mosquitos/ants can get in, the shower gel made our skin itchy, the toilets were a bit blocked, the mattress was super hard, the bed linen was quite old

Location: Near to AaoNang beach - hotel has an hourly shuttle service, so accessibility is not a constraint, easy access to tuk - tuk as well. About 50/60 B for one side. There is a lazy bar next to the resort, which is good if you are getting bored. Feel: The feel of the resort when you enter is not great but as you get inside, you find it okay. Its green, peaceful and decent. The restaurant is pretty basic, in complimentary breakfast you only get to choose two things. So the plan about heavy breakfast and skip lunch is not going to happen. The food in restaurant (if you must) is okay, although they dont offer anything after 10PM. The pool has clean water. You see some small hills from a distance in the pool - which feels nice. Service: There is practically none, other than bellboy dropping your luggage once, there is no room service as the bungalows/cottages are on their own. These cottages/bungalows are spaced decently from each other to provide basic privacy. The house-keeping comes very early. The rooms and bathroom in general are just basic clean. There is some issue with warm water as the geyser is really unscalable. If you are looking for a budget travel, with some basic peaceful place to stay, this is the place. In our case we only stayed very few hours in-side the resort other than sleeping. And were mostly outside as there is a lot to do outside If your idea of vacation revolves heavily around resort, you may be slightly disappointed.

Stayed here for 3 weeks in March 2014 and already planning to go back for Christmas. This is a small resort located a short distance from the beach, only a 5 minute stroll away. There are 20 bungalows within a very pleasant tropical garden, with a nice pool. The restaurant was very good for breakfast/lunch/dinner and very reasonable. The resort is run and managed by Muslims so no alcohol etc, staff are very pleasant and attentive. We had the superior bungalow which was quite comfortable with aircon, fridge, tv and much better than the standard room. Our room was cleaned every day, clean towels and bedding. The reception staff will arrange trips with pick up at the resort at very reasonable prices. Noppharat beach has enough restaurants all serving excellent food, especially sea food. Ao Nang is only 4 minutes away and free transfer there every hour. Ao Nang is busier with a lot more restaurants,shops etc. We had a great holiday and I can't wait to go back again.

The Noppharat Resort is a fantastic place to stay if you want some privacy and maybe a romantic getaway. It is a little far away from all the tourists spots and the beach parties, but the resort is pretty cute and the pool and the rooms are very nice. The "restaurant" is very small and simple and you should not expect big buffets or fancy dishes but it works for breakfast if you want to grab anything on the go. It is not far from the beach and it is close as well to the Muay Thay stadium and the cobra show. I would come back.

Ive booked 2 bungalows (deluxe) & they upgrade it to bungalows (deluxe pool view) for free! Nice english speaking staff. They served halal food.

The Hotel staff was very nice.The Hotel was very clean,and the food was great.the only down side was it was out in the sticks not close to much.My stay was very relaxing,I even liked the no booze it made the resort really quite.i would stay again or recomend it to others.

Didn’t clean bathroom trash for 3 days, inconsistent w/ free bottled water. Cheap breakfast. Only get 2 choices: eggs or 1x small pancake. I don't care that there was not bacon, but felt like a prisoner being rationed food. Took shower on top of toilet. Literally...it was terrible. Paid for a pool view - couldn’t even see the pool. FULL OF MOLD. The smell accosted you the second you opened the door & there was huge mold stain on the ceiling. Overpriced. Friends stayed at Ben’s House w/ same amenities, better breakfast & bathroom, & closer to town so tuk tuk not required, for half the price! Tuk tuk is convenient except they forget to pick you up. 3 NIGHTS IN A ROW!! Had to beg people in town to use their phone each night. We waited 30min the 1st night, an HOUR the 2nd night. The last night, the driver drove past us twice but never stopped even as we chased him down the road. What made this stay so bittersweet was some staff were nice & helpful. When we had a tour come too early one morning, the kitchen staff quickly made our breakfast & boxed it up for us to take. They offered to let us stay for an extra 5hrs after checkout as we had a late flight. They did our laundry same day for a standard price which was a lifesaver. In the end the negatives outweighed the positives. The only way I could see staying here is by paying $15AUD a night for the “SUPERIOR” bungalow (including breakfast, don’t bother w/ a “pool view”)...certainly not $55+!

i love everything about this hotel. deluxe room very cosy, with huge bathroom, large bedroom and comfort pillow. Although the location about 400m to aonang town, hotel provide free shuttle. Reception ladies very nice & helpful. My children also love the pool.
