The coastal walk to the ocean was so lovely! The room was comfortable and the blackout curtain was great.

The bed was two twin mattresses pushed together. Though it was comfortable it’s not my favorite to have a crack between the two separate mattresses.

The area of Ballymoney and the beach is lovely.

It's not enough for the price you pay. Also, room was not ready by 3pm. We couldn't use the pool as I had no picture ID for my 16 year old daughter and it was very obvious that she wasn't a little girl.

A few disappointing elements to our stay. Our bedroom was extremely warm. The heating was on a timer I was told and could turn it off on a switch below the radiator. I did this and left the window open but the room was stifling. Also element of the spa weren’t working. One of the rooms was closed off and some of the apparatus in the outdoor and indoor pool didn’t work properly. Food was lovely. The hotel decor lovely and the staff extremely welcoming.

The heat of the bedroom was very very very warm. Ridiculous and made sleeping incredibly uncomfortable. The spa had a number of things not working.

Our stay had a few disappointing aspects that really impacted the overall experience. Firstly, room service came with an additional €10 charge just to have it delivered to the room, which felt excessive. On top of that, room service wasn’t available past 9:30pm, and this wasn’t communicated to us at any point. We ended up having to leave the hotel late at night to find food because we were still hungry, and unfortunately, the food we had earlier wasn’t particularly enjoyable either. We also tried the cocktails at the bar — we ordered 8 between us, priced at around €14 each — and they were very underwhelming. They tasted like they had little to no alcohol in them, and we genuinely felt completely sober afterwards, which was disappointing given the price. Another frustrating experience was the following morning when we were told we could access the private beach with an extended key card. We walked about 20 minutes to get there, only to find that the card didn’t work, meaning we couldn’t access the beach at all. By that point, we didn’t have time to resolve the issue before we had to leave. Overall, there were multiple issues that made the stay feel poorly managed and not great value for money.
