In the evening, I had rather optimistically planned to get some work done. That, of course, proved impossible. Later, I had the equally ambitious idea of getting some sleep. That also did not happen. There was no WiFi for half the day. When it eventually appeared, it dropped out roughly once a minute, which was a charming touch. Someone in the nearby caravan park had Starlink, and that ended up being the most reliable internet option available — which says quite a lot about the hotel. Mobile internet does not work inside the building at all. Step five metres outside onto the street and it works perfectly. Inside the hotel: nothing. This, naturally, did not appear to trouble the staff in the slightest. At 7 a.m., someone decided that loud, energetic music was exactly what the entire building needed. The sound carries beautifully through the hotel, apparently unimpeded by such luxuries as walls or doors. Again, the staff seemed entirely unconcerned. As an additional bonus, the fire alarm went off several times for no apparent reason. A lovely contribution to the overall sense of calm and relaxation. Shortly after 7 a.m., renovation work began next to my room. This involved cutting boards with an electric saw, dropping them on the floor, and drilling — all excellent choices for guests who may have foolishly expected to sleep. At around 9:30 a.m., a cleaner tried to enter the room, despite checkout being at 11. A fitting final flourish. This place is an absolute madhouse. I will certainly never return, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I did not get anything remotely resembling a proper night’s sleep. It has been a very long time since I had an experience this bad in a hotel. And all of this for the very reasonable sum of £250.

Habitación muy pequeña. No hay colgador de toallas ni secador. Están en obras y a las 7 de la mañana empiezan los golpes y no han avisado. La limpieza de la habitación bastante pobre y en la habitación hace frío

Buena localización para viajar a la Isla de Skye

Habitaciones muy pequeñas y ciertamente cutres. El baño no tendrá mucho más de 2 metros cuadrados

Mocht geen hond in hotel, via booking filter reis met huisdieren aangezet kom op dit hotel. Boek in de ochtend voor dezelfde avond. Met apart bericht erbij dat we met onze hond komen. Krijg daarop vanuit hotel bevestiging. Komen om 16u bij hotel mag hond niet naar binnen. Maar er wordt niet meegedacht en we moeten volledige bedrag betalen ook al hebben we geen voet in hotel gezet. Is policy waar ze niet vanaf willen wijken ook niet meedenken door een tegemoetkoming. Erg onbeleefd en zegt genoeg over deze hoteleigenaar, geen fijn respectvol persoon.

Stunningly beautiful setting with fantastic views over the sea and mountains. Excellent accommodation, superbly clean and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant food at reasonable 'hotel' prices with good size helpings.

Very expensive for a one night stay, but limited accommodation in this area. Pub food restaurant menu also rather limited
