amazing location, lovely facility, delicious dinner.

Lovely old place with lots of charm. Rooms were little dated but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. My dog was made very welcome too.

Grounds could do with a but of care and upkeep but that did not detract from my stay

The old building is fascinating. The surrounding is nice.

The carpets were stained, the room smelled a bit and there was no real shower, a bath tub with a shower hose but the water pressure was very weak. The food in the restaurant was really good but there weren’t a lot of vegetarian options. Yet, the chef provided something which was good. In the morning the warm breakfast took ages to being served so that the toast was already cold once the warm breakfast was served. The waiter and the waitress were really nice.

The staff were v kind but desperately wanted to say how the place is closing in September because the hotel cannot get the staff! The room was clean and fun.

The accommodation was v expensive (£275). Dinner and breakfast on top of that also expensive and portions were tiny. I took rack of lamb and got 2 lamb chops. I was told that lamb was an expensive ingredient at the moment. The building was dilapidated and in significant disrepair. The grounds were overgrown and it felt like no maintenance had been done for several years! All in all I was disappointed and felt that I did not get value for money. I am not surprised it's closing. The operation should have stopped some time ago.

An Charme nicht zu übertreffen, innen wie außen. Salon mit Bechstein-Flügel. Sehr isolierte Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Loch Awe, in dem man auch baden kann. Verwunschene, etwas mystische Stimmung - sehr schöne Erfahrung.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und kann in den Zimmern einige Renovierungsarbeiten gebrauchen. Trotzdem haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Very low signal on the wifi but didn't matter since you go there to get away from work.
