"Beautiful but do not bring heavy luggage."

The location is beautiful. The dinner and breakfast were very good. The dinner server was delightful and friendly. The Gentleman that checked me in was very nice.

The bed mattress was uncomfortable and may need to be replaced due to age. You have to haul your luggage up the stairs so if you are going to the UK for a long trip and staying 1 or 2 nights bring a small bag of what you need to carry up. The day staff insisted on helping take the bags down but said “is a body in here” we had a laugh.

"Needs updating and could be superb."

Friendly staff (the one person we interacted with). Fantastic building.

Alas, a tired interior (floor to ceiling). Our room had a burn mark where a hot iron had been left. Creaky flooring....

Very friendly and relaxed. Grand for the dogs with good outdoor space and plenty poop bins. £30 for the two of them. Beautiful room and brilliant bath with separate shower. Gorgeous ceiling murals in some public spaces.

Only vanilla ice cream available as dessert option.
