It’s unique

The staff were all positive and helpful but were under extreme pressure to cover several roles at the same time. The whole castle vibe was good, we could see that some areas had been updated fairly recently. We had dinner one night, the steaks were good. Comfy bed and nice sheets, towels. Reasonable price and this is reflected in the facilities.

Breakfast was chaotic, one person running round trying to do everything. Limited choices and running out of items, cooked breakfast barely acceptable. We were in a back room number 2, felt like the servants quarters down some steps and quite a small room. The old carpet is not very appealing. The reception area is a bit depressing and it looks like they have covered up a block that I presumed was the lift, which would be useful to reinstate.

matras was vreselijk, Waterdruk in douche was dieptriest. Ontbijt was het geld niet waard Het moet grondig worden schoongemaakt en het heeft flink wat herstel nodig

The breakfast was excellent
