My neice fell though the rotten verandah floor. House is so unsafe!!!! The whole house is a disaster waiting to happen. Would never recommend to anyone. When spoke to owners they did not want to hear about it.

The price we paid for the room was appropriate, it wasn't a 5 star but all the facilities in the room was as expected for the price. You were close to many attractions. Loved the location, and friendly staff.

Very dated facility. Rooms were old, and looked like they hadn't had a facelift in 30 years. Bed was uncomfortable and sagged. Bathroom was old. Room was cold with no heating provided. Would not recommend this at the price we paid.

Comfortable but could be cleaner. Water pressure extremely poor. Decor extremely dated

Overall ok stay, disappointed with staff communications and friendliness. Room had usable appliances, however cleanliness was low. Previous guest used soap, In spa, electrical cords running through room also a concern. Scenery was pretty. Would not book again.

Hot water system not reliable. Fire place was great but not enough wood available to warm the room through the night

If this room was $80 a night and not $155 it would be more appropriate the cabin had a strong smell of existing mould and the cupboards smelt strongly of insecticide enough to stir up my asthma the rooms were tidy and well stocked but in huge need of an upgrade I cannot say they were clean as there were issues with mould but they looked very tidy we were sent to a second cabin that had less mould smell but the pillows smelt like insecticide the roof had rust all over the metal beams and the bed in cabin 12 was very unsatisfactory woke up with a sore back and itchy. The reception told my partner that nobody ever complains and the beds are all brand new. I am not one to complain but I would like to say that bed was quite old in appearance and very saggy. I came for a night of rest but I was disappointed unfortunately. I did not expect five star but the place was run down if the rooms were upgraded a little it would be much nicer for guests and the mould issue dealt with. If a room smells that bad it's unhealthy with airborne particles just don't rent it out. My room at home was much nicer and I will read reviews from now on.

Very tired accommodation, grounds need lots of work, very disappointed we paid so much and got so little.

The retreat was poorly maintained. Overgrown grass and weeds throughout pool area ect... Pool was filthy with creepy crawly left in the pool. Spa/ Jacuzzi was cold. The bedroom: The water pressure was poor and brown. Overall very outdated.

Overall was a lovely time away. The region is beiatiful. The house was clean and equipped. Pictures were not true to life. The whole place has been let go quite a bit. Trees/Gardens overgrown, pond dirty, pool/spa bit murky with a heap of debris, driveway in need of repair , whole place just needs some TLC. I stayed in the Qlder and it is in need of some TLC too. We had a look at the other units and they are much more modern and looked more recently renovated. But the Qlder is in need of some repair. The verandah floor boards are warped and loose, feels like it could collapse, and you can't walk in then barefoot or you'll get splinters. We had issues with the toilet the whole stay. It kept getting stuck and the water continually flowed unless you hit the systern. it was repaired once but didn't last long. No it made the tank run dry, which was refilled promptly. Though when we notified staff, they seemed frustrated at us for it. At the end staff chatted with us and asked us if we enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely escape from reality.
