The staff were wonderful, the room was spotless, the breakfast exceeded our expectations, and we left with a smile on our faces. The complimentary lemons from the tree in garden were a bonus.

Die gute Lage um die Stadt um die Stadt/Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden. Parkmöglichkeit, schöner kleiner Garten mit Zitronenbäumen, die freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

"We loved Coimbra. The accommodation was ok but it felt too budget at times."

Very close to the atmospheric University at the top of town. The students give it a convicial, unique vibe. Parking, once sorted, was essential. Decent size room, excellent large bed, good linen. Friendly staff.

Mediocre choice at breakfast, with few fresh options and fruit. . Too many cheap fillers, like sweetened orange juice and tinned peaches. Ugh. The shower room was tiny, with no shelves or spaces for toiletries. Small towels.
