"Special occasion weekend away"

The location and view is great. It is a lovely house with lots of original art work. The soundproofing must be good as upstairs guests moved around without disturbing sleeping guests in downstairs room. Comfy sunny sitting room. Spacious.

Had a right challenge getting 2 long cars parked so as not to disrupt users of garages opposite. Door locks weren't easy. Soon after check-in I got list of check-out instructions that didn't impress me. Given so much emphasis on the cleanliness & so many charges for any leeway the letting agency expect you to do the cleaning team's job. Ironically had we not been instructed to strip all beds (a first in all my travelling days) we wouldn't have found all the stains on the mattress and protector. A last minute downer! Separate feedback sent to agency.
