Lovely 2 bedroom flat in the heart of the city

We like the proximity to the heart of Edinburgh. Also the early 1900s feel of the property was nice. The apartment was very clean and host was accommodating.

The stairs leading up to the apartment were steep and winding with no handrails. Also the stairs had no lighting and were very dismal look. Certainly not recommended for anyone with a physical disability in walking. Also, the bathroom was very small making it difficult to move about in.

The host met us outside and showed us the space. The location was great and within walking distance to all attractions and shops. Further, the host was kind enough to buy us some bread, milk, and eggs. The host also let us check in one hour earlier than usual.

Great location

The bathroom was very small and the toilet flush was not great although we appreciate that the flat is in an old building. The cost was inflated by the dates of the festival (unfairly across the whole city). A fairer cost would have been closer to half what we paid.

The location is very good, near to the main centres, but not too busy while we were there. Also plenty of friendly pubs, restaurants and cafes very close by.

Location was great, apartment was clean.

Nothing really, you do need to be fairly fit as you have 38 steps to get to the apartment from the bottom door on the street.

thanks for the eggs, milk, juice, and bread. We didn't expect it and it was wonderful.
