Bungalow en bois avec vue sur la plage et mer turquoise .très peu de monde sauf le week end les familles cambodgiennes qui s'y retrouve.le site est paradisiaque Petit déjeuner copieux et restaurant avec de bons plats Comme a l'habitude le personnel est très attentionné souriant L'île est sauvage avec de très belles baies Pas de route uniquement bateau pour aller d'un coté à l'autre Des travaux pour une route ont démarré puis stoppé . Du coup c' est un chantier .on peut l'emprunter pour aller sur l'autre versant de l'île ,comptez 2 h 30 a 3 h pour l'aller- retour en plein soleil la plupart du temps et ça grimpe!! Ile très tranquille .nous avons beaucoup aimé nous y reposer après notre periple

Lack of facilities

Regrettably, we must confirm all the negative reviews we saw online. We ignored them before booking, and that was a huge mistake. This resort is in poor condition and not worth the stay. Key issues: Bungalow condition: The bungalows are very old and full of gaps. Despite using two electric repellents (one liquid and one mat), I was badly bitten by mosquitoes. They simply fly in through the cracks in the walls. Shower hot water heater and air conditioning do not met the overpricing. Poor sleep: There were two beds in the room. On one of them, the mattress was so worn out that the springs were sticking out. My friend couldn’t sleep for both nights. Cleanliness and Territory: There is no proper territory; the bungalows are just lined up along the shore. Behind our bungalow, near the staff quarters, and all around the area, there were piles of trash and construction noise. The only places to walk are two neighboring hotels managed by EHM. Pricing issues: The breakfast price on booking.com was $7.50, but at the hotel, they demanded $10 per person. Also, while EHM offered a 15% discount at the restaurant by booking.com but no discount for the breakfast. At these price points, there shouldn't be a discrepancy between the booking.com listing and the reality in the restaurant. Room amenities: There was a kettle, but no tea or coffee provided. The bathroom had hot water, but no hairdryer. Bad weather transfer nightmare: due to rough seas, we were taken by tuk-tuk to the pier on the other side of the island it is OK, but waiting an hour for the yellow boat taxi is not OK. Conclusion: We deeply regret spending two days at this bungalow. I do not recommend it for the $90 per night, max price should be about $45 + breakfast.

The Sandy Beach Bungalows are basically old shacks that we refused to stay in. Then they put into Tube Resort next door which was a big improvement. Sandy Beach Resort = trash dump Tube Resorts = good quiet place to stay with excellent food at a good price

The beach is just steps away, and the view from the rooms is absolutely breathtaking—especially during sunrise. I loved the outdoor seating areas, where you can sit and enjoy the breeze. The Wi-Fi was quite slow and often disconnected, especially in the rooms.

Fantastic location. Great restaurant. Just amazing!

I loved the location of this resort — it’s quiet, private, and the beach is clean. The breakfast was tasty and the service was good. The waves were a bit high, so I couldn’t swim.
