"Great price/beautiful location."

I woke up around 10 a.m. on July 4th in Rochester, MN and made A split decision last minute choice that it would be nice to watch the fireworks in Duluth, MN. I started looking online for hotels. Everything was $200+/night. I came across Mont du Lac Resort and found a small little cabin for under $100/night. I was on the road by 1 and arrived around 6. Ended up staying 2 nights because of the price and location. Cellphone reception wasn't great but they have free WIFI throughout the property! I had a great getaway. I will utilize this Resort again in the future if I'm in that area. Highly recommend. 5 Stars*****

Incredible quiet place the nights we stayed! The bar was great but i wished it would have been open longer and they ran out of tequila. We only received 2 wristbands for accommodations for up to 6 people. We had to buy extras at $18/ person.

I was not happy we were not informed of a party at the hill restaurant part and the shuttle would not bring us up there since we were not part of the party. My friend and i were so cold from walking just to find out there was no place to dine in and barely made it back down the hill in time for a meal. The shuttle driver was very rude and wouldnt even come back for us. We told a staff member below the hill that we would come just to tube but never again will i stay.
