Private Garden, Patio & Parking Near Falmouth Town

The kitchen was well equipped with lovely ovens! Loved the fact there was a washer/dryer too. It was a short drive into town, though I’m glad we had the car because walking up those hills would have been tough!

There was very little natural light, and 80% of the place smelled damp and musty. There was mould growing in the main bathroom 😩 and we hadn’t realised there would be low beams running throughout the property, so my partner had to duck into every room & didn’t actually fit in the shower where it was so low. The parking, while private, was tricky to drive into through a very narrow entrance and with a steep driveway. Also, the fire alarm for the main house was triggered in the middle of our stay, with no way for us to turn it off in the below apartment until an employee from the fire detection system company came to turn it off. The company that owns this place is impossible to reach, with generic automated responses to every message.

Good location - within easy walking distance of beach and Falmouth town centre

As the property is a converted basement, the doorways are very low so inevitably you have to crouch through. Also, both bathrooms have no natural ventilation and are a bit musty smelling. We had a situation where guests in the adjoining house were parking in our spot behind the wooden gate which was a bit annoying (even though it's clearly signed as reserved for the apartment guests).

The apartment felt welcoming; it was clean and I slept well. The table in the conservatory was a great place to have morning coffee whilst checking emails. It was a real bonus to have secure, off-road parking and it only took me about ten minutes to walk to the town centre.

Doorways and ceilings are very low and the bedroom and living room have very little natural light.

Very comfortable apartment, very modern & spacious. Close to bus stop and not that far from town centre. Great modern long kitchen, comfortable beds.

Couple of low beams but not a problem.

Dirty sofa bed with no sheet provided for the first night and when I messaged the number given at 4.30pm I got an automated reply saying I’ve reached them after hours - didn’t hear back from them until the morning. The kettle didn’t work. I had someone else trying to get into the property saying they had booked it- which didn’t make me feel very safe. The food bin hadn’t been emptied and none of the floors looked like they had been hoovered/mopped. Upstairs were noisy - we could hear them walking around which was pretty off putting. Parking was very tight and awkward. It wasn’t as close a walk into Falmouth as described. All in all a pretty disappointing stay in a property that wasn’t accurately described.
