Taking a shower could be challenging at times trying to balance the water temperature. Fluctiating from scolding hot to ice cold constantly at times. It seems the central plumbing system does not have special mix valves to prevent this problem.

-Excellent Facilities. We were blown away with the resort and the villas. All of the villas are based around the pool with easy access to the beach/pool and tapas bar but they also feel private. The pool is salt water from the lagoon which is also awesome! -Great staff. They were very helpful and assisted with all our needs especially Elaine!

Everything. Elaine, Barrie and Jade went above and beyond in keeping the guests happy the breakfast hamper was amazing facilities top class.

From the staff to the room, cleanliness, location, it's all amazing. We experienced two Rarotonga's on our holiday and the first week where we stayed with ocean escape, and it was pure bliss. The location is amazing, you're not in the hustle and Bussel but close to it, with night markets, shops not too far a drive. I felt safe and at home during our stay and if we needed something fast there was the shop across the road. This place also has an amazing coffee and bakery four houses down. If you are looking for a holiday where you indulge, relax and refuel you want to stay here.

I loved everything about this place. sure, you have to drive to get dinner and sometimes you can't be bothered doing that so I believe when the restaurant is up and running this place will be absolutely amazing and until that happens you have your kitchenet to help make something easy

This small resort really is an escape and retreat. The units are supplied with absolutely everything, are spotlessly clean, and modern. There is a a great self catering plentiful breakfast in your unit, which is refreshed every 3 days. We had 9 days here and were lucky as the tapas and cocktail bar opened for the first time duringour stay. A great spot to spend a couple of early evening hours. Barry and Jade and their staff know what it takes to help make your holiday great. Friendly and helpful. My partner enjoyed the spa facilities. You need to book ahead for this. The pool lounging is enhanced by nice chilled out music, at just the right volume. The island bus stops across the road every hour but we hired a car for the time we were there. The sea is right at the resort with a small sandy beach but this is not a snorkeling spot. The reef is relatively close to the resort at this spot on the island. There's a communal washing machine available and a small clothesline at each unit. Muri Beach is close by, and there's a night food market 3 times a week. Sunday is the best night as all the food stalls are open. For other restaurants, Jade and Elaine gave us great recommendations. There is a supermarket and burgers literally 2 mins down the street. We didn't try the burgers. It turned out that Jade was also a nurse and dressed a wound when my partner hurt himself. Thank you so much.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, but if you were disabled or struggling with stairs, just be aware that the bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom downstairs next to the lounge and kitchen.

Ocean escape was spectacular the room was stunning as was the facilities the spa was beautiful the entire place was magical. We would highly recommend staying here Barry and his staff are so helpful and go above and beyond!!!!
