Ocean Escape Resort & Spa

I loved everything. Its hard to choose a few highlights but Staff were so amazing - thanks for putting up with my talking! I was blown away by the food and wine in the fridge etc It was such as beautiful resort There was air con and it was easy to keep room cool The room itself was so spacious. I highly recommend :-)

Nothing - I loved it all

Fantastic accomodation in every respect. The rooms are so nice, modern and clean, with a thoughtful layout catering to anything you could need. The saltwater pool is so lovely and great for dip at any time of the day. The spa treatments were great too, and Elaine was so helpful and friendly on front desk. Would strongly recommend staying here!

Nothing at all, but guests should be aware this is not a good spot for lagoon swimming immediately in front of the accomodation - great sea views though!

A lovely, restful stay. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. Rooms are great and the pool and other facilities are lovely. We would definitely stay again.

This was my first time visiting Rarotonga and my accomodation area was amazing. It has gorgeous features and a warm aura. The people here welcomed me with warm smiles. If I was to stay in Rarotonga again I would definitely come back to ocean escape resort & spa

A beautifully designed & presented resort in a quiet, peaceful location. The pool area is superb & the villa we stayed in was spotlessly clean, comfortable, & well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything guests would need for an enjoyable stay. A great feature was the automatic soft blue night lighting in the villas which illuminated the stairs & bathroom. Easy on the eyes & no worries about falling over in the dark. The owners & staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of food provided for breakfast, staff were happy to adjust if you needed a bit more of this & less of that. Completion of the on site Tapas bar & restaurant will be a welcome addition. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but the benefit of this was having the sandy foreshore & outdoor seating area pretty much to ourselves most of the time. Muri is just down the road if you want to swim in the sea & enjoy the company of others.

Returning home

Beautiful layout and well-designed private units. Ladies in spa were lovely, and spa was good experience.

Unfinished - no bar, no food on site. Too far to walk to a beach to snorkel/swim, and no other resorts/restaurants nearby apart from supermarket and burger joint so had to drive/taxi or bus for coffee (only coffee place closes 10am in the morning), lunches or dinner. I found the location quite limiting in this respect. Breakfast basket was OK, but limited. Previous times I’ve enjoyed this option, they were delivered fresh, daily and included pastries, etc. This basket was topped up every 3 days, and that was it, although reception was happy to provide more on request.

So thoughtfully put together with a clean and updated room filled with all the facilities you need. Welcome bubbles on arrival and a team working there who are absolutely brilliant.

They supplied breakfast for each day, there was such a great choice, also supplied was cheese and crackers for daily snacks, while lounging by an amazing pool
