Property Notes

Guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID. The property will not accept expired licenses or passports. Billing information needs to be the same as the booking information. Full-service daily housekeeping is not available, except by special request. Housekeepers will remove trash and replace linens as needed. Our lodge does not have a 24-hour front desk. Our check-in times are 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Please contact us if you would like to check in early and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you will be arriving between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., please inform us and we will have a staff member available to check you in. Any check-ins after 8:00 p.m. will be assessed a fee of $20 per half hour. We will not accept check ins after 9:00 p.m. For arrivals into the Hilo Airport (ITO) after 8:00 p.m., the late check-in fee will be waived with proof of flight itinerary. We recommend Kona Airport arrivals after 6:00 p.m. DO NOT schedule check-ins with us until the next day. Our Front Desk hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm HST (09:00 - 17:00).Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

"excellent place to stay"

Arnott's has reasonable princes and is such a comfortable place to stay. The rooms are nice, good kitchens to prepare food in and then a lovely lanai for a hang out in the morning or evening. Also, if you are looking for a place to say where you can get in a walk, run or ocean stroll, they are right near the ocean. You can be at the ocean within 5 minutes. You can walk either west or east and also be at a beach location. It is a great location for a larger group as well. I regularly bring a group of 24 and of all the places we stay on the island, this location is always everyone's favorite.

Two years of great experience! We are a college group and Big Island Hawaii is our Global Field Study. We came back to Arnott's after similar trip in 2024. We appreciate hospitality, outdoor space and suites with enough space and kitchens.
