My stay was smooth..check in was quick no long lines and the bed was comfortable

At this price point, it makes no sense to complain about "missing" amenities (e.g., a gym) that would/should not be Expected. Indeed, at this price, even having a fridge in the room is a welcome surprise. Some items were more amusingly than annoyingly deficient: (a) especially since bathroom had clearly been renovated recently, how odd that there is no shelf in shower to place soap; and (b) curtains are a few inches too narrow to fully darken the room, so expect to be awakened by sunrise. The place is about a 1/2 mile walk to the subway, and that is fine; for me, that Planet Fitness is also nearby is the main reason I will happily stay here again.

Only in Kazakstan would this place rate an 8.0! Someone is inflating their rating. A great place to stay if you want that North Korean Prison camp experience. I am not even sure the sheets were clean when i checked in. There was no soap in the bathroom. The shower looked like it had been just used and not wiped down. The towels were like what you buy for automotive rags in Costco in the giant bag. I am sure it does a steady trade in hookers and johns. Avoid this crap box at all costs. The bullet proof glass at reception is your first sign you have checked into the Hotel Transylvania.

Very helpful and courteous staff members Clean rooms, they provide free and unlimited coffee downstairs. You can even leave your luggages when once you checked out to go out and just pick it up again

I'll be back. For the price this place is hard to beat. Clean, comfortable, quiet, easy hike to the subway. I'll like it better when the work out room re-opens.
