ChocoLets - The Foss Suite

The property was well located. It is just walking distance from shops and tourist spot. Toiletries are included. There was milk, tea, coffee. Furnitures and kitchen stuff are all in good condition. We have a good view of the river. The place was clean.

Great location for exploring York, with lovely views of the river. The flat itself was well decorated and very comfortable - we especially appreciated how warm and cosy it was for a winter trip! The host was really helpful, sending us extensive information ahead of our stay and replying to any queries we had, making check-in and out effortless. The kitchenette was well stocked with the essentials and we enjoyed the complimentary Prosecco 🙂 As past reviews mention, the geese outside are quite loud. This didn’t bother us at all as we woke up fairly early, and enjoyed watching them go by - but worth noting if you plan to lie in. If this doesn’t bother you though, this is a great place to stay in York!

We could have done with more than one extra pillow in the wardrobe but, again, this really wasn’t an issue.

Great location and everything you needed for a couple of nights away.

Overall this is an excellent little place to stay. Feeding the birds out of the window was great. Lovely view. Very quiet at night.

What a beautiful apartment. It was absolutely spotlessly clean and comfortable and a perfect base for a few days/nights exploring York. It had everything we needed and it was nice to have a little kitchen/dining area, although we ate out so only used it for making tea but it made it feel more homely & spacious than a hotel room The location is ideal as it’s only a short walk up to the Shambles and onto the main shopping area. There’s plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely book again if we were to go back to York (which we absolutely will be doing)

A lovely apartment, very comfortable. Close to The Shambles. A lovely gesture to leave a bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge.

It was a shame the apartment did not come with parking. We had to pay 48 pound extra for a two night stay.
