Clifton YOLO Spaces - Clifton Sea View Apartments

The views were spectacular and the staff were all very helpful. Clean apartment and very modern and comfortable. Close to many nice beaches.

Very comfortable and large space with cosy clean beds and good facilities like the washing machine, pool. Calm atmosphere to the whole place and great, really helpful staff. Wonderful view of the sunset every evening. Worked well for a family with two toddlers.

The place needs a deep clean. The extractor fan was disgustingly grimy. We tried to wipe it down but it ended up looking much worse! The kitchen cupboard handles were sticky, the microwave had a bad smell. We did not use the oven but neither did we want to as it immediately looked dirty. Bathroom mats were old and well used and the plastic seal on the shower was black with mold in places. This lack of attention to detail is unacceptable when it comes to what one is paying. Other smaller disappointments include the cleaning supplies being haphazardly put in a cupboard without easy access and the outdoor sliding gate being off it’s hinges constantly so we had to use our full strength to open it every time. This is Clifton but that does not justify the grime. The apartment needs some much needed attention.

Nice location directly at Clifton beach, but too loud.

This is not so much a review about the property but about the YOLO manager we where in contact with and the communication. We booked an apartment which is not directly at the street because we don’t like noise and we have a small child. One day before arrival, we get the info that we got „an upgrade“ out of courtesy because our booked location is not available. Well the upgrade is an Appartement directly at the street, day and night super noisy, and a non-kids friendly balcony. I get it, stuff happens. But the communication was just very bad, we got told over and over that we can’t complain because this is „an upgrade“ and it would be super kids friendly (spoiler: it was not) and the manager just neglected every concern of us by talking us down. The property we ended up with was ok, but the furniture outdated and in general not what we expected, we would not book any property from YOLO again.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment with our two children. Everything about our entire stay was amazing. Jaden (host) was always available on WhatsApp when we needed anything and the service was exceptional. The penthouse had everything we needed during our stay. The pool was such a great temperature and the kids loved this. Location was perfect. There was a great coffee shop just on the corner ‘ The eatery Clifton’ and access to the beach was on the doorstep. We organised parking with Jaden which made things much easier for us with the kids. We have been coming to Cape Town now for 12 years and the penthouse exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be staying here again and recommending this place to others.

the location is good. The apartment was kitted very well with all items that one may need

The walk up to the apartment was exhausting. Older people may have a challenge to walk up. So that was not ideal. The guest bathroom was very dark. Need more light. In general the bathrooms need a revamp.
