Ranis Lodge

We do not even know where to start . The location is tranquil and at the same time central to every interesting part of the island. The bungalows are perfectly equipped , very clean and modern. Located in a fabulous garden. You can just sit, relax and watch wildlife on your doorstep. Now the most important part to us was - a bunch of fantastic people we came across while staying in the Lodge: Reinhold and his staff is absolutely fantastic - helpful in every possible way and easily reachable. They arranged for us a very well priced little car to enjoy the island - well worth having. We would highly recommend the place . Reinhold, and all the fabulous people at the Lodge - one more time - thank you for having us :) we are missing the place and you guys already . Best wishes. Lukasz and Aleksandra .

A calm place to relax surrounded by jungle. If you want to stay in the nature and not in the touristic area then come to the lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff that makes your stay perfect. The villas are clean and well equipped with a kitchen.

Great villas. Perfect, quiet location in the jungle, blending with nature - surrounded by monkeys, birds, squirrels. Perfect place for a peaceful family vacation. The villas were very clean, spacious. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Very pleasant. 10/10 stars. The staff also helped to organize transportation rental, both scooters and cars. Beautiful one of a kind stay in an eco lodge. Beautiful location, very relaxing taking in the views and open air layout of the communal leisure/recreational zone. Perfectly situated away from the busy parts of town but still central enough for all parts of the island to remain accessible.

The roads were undergoing maintenance and the road leading up to the driveway was blocked multiple times during our stay, requiring us to wait 5-10 mins at a time for the workers to make space.

Beautiful surroundings, tranquil setting, staff very helpful and pleasant. Alif particularly was helpful in providing information and sorting bookings out for us . Spacious comfortable lodge. We had several visits from a group of monkeys playing in the trees which was fascinating.

Would have been good to have some food availability. Location isolated so transport definitely necessary , but this enabled us to travel freely around the island so was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ranis lodge. The villas are very nice and comfortable and so is the swimming pool area. Most importantly, Alif made our stay so much better! He's been great from the moment he welcomed us to the moment we left - be it for his kindness or all the information he gave us ranging from places to eat to activities!

This wasn't an issue for us, but due to the location of the lodge, it is mandatory to have your own mode of transportation.

Ranis Lodge proved to be a tranquil oasis, a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Langkawi Island. It went beyond my anticipations, providing an almost surreal experience during my stay. The facilities and amenities were impeccably kept and spotlessly clean. The villa had all the essentials I required for my three-night stay. The staff members were exceptionally hospitable, and I want to express my gratitude to our host, Alif, who was a remarkable and genuinely welcoming individual. Without a doubt, my next visit to Langkawi will involve booking with them once again.

This is an amazing location. The staff is very helpful. No animals inside, except some unharmful small geckos. Very clean room.
