The location. The villa. The pool. The staff.

The bed. It was creaky and somewhat uncomfortable.

What an unbelievably amazing place to stay! The staff were fantastic! So Kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help us with everything, to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The villa was beautiful. The view from the verandah was amazing. The best part of all was the pool. It was the perfect temperature. The whole place felt very homely and personal. We were extremely comfortable. One of our favourite places we have ever stayed at!

Ranis Lodge is much more than an escape to nature, it is a total immersion experience. During our wonderful five night stay, in a very comfortable and well equipped detached lodge, (even supplying cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and tea - very useful) we were surrounded by an amazing forest landscape, which also served as a hangout for a small family of monkeys. The accommodation was fully booked yet we rarely encountered any other guests and this added to the overall feeling of space and tranquility. The peace and quite was heaven. The staff were helpful, dedicated and extremely passionate about their ongoing environmental project. A huge thanks to Mr Alif and his team who ensured we settled in well and had everything we needed. Amenities include an infinity pool, sun loungers with umbrellas, covered seating areas with a small library. The overall vibe of Ranis Lodge is summed up by the honesty box payment system in the bar area. We were sad to leave such a natural oasis of calm and relaxation. This is definitely one resort that we plan to revisit and stay longer.

Perfect getaway, resort is lovely and the staff was perfect. Special thanks to Aliff who was so accomodating. Location is centralized to the attractions, however it might be a bit challenging if you aren't planning on driving/riding and relying on grab. FYI if you're thinking of renting a car whilst you're in Langkawi, do it through Aliff instead as he knows the reputable companies.

Spotlessly clean and wonderful peaceful location. Alif and the team were brilliant and always on hand to help with questions and recommendations.

Peaceful location within nature and luxuriously comfortable. We stayed in the bungalow which was incredibly spacious and tastefully decked out. Much bigger than expected with a fantastic terrace overlooking the island - huge vista of mountains, forests etc. Sighted cute Duksy Leaf monkeys at play straight from the terrace. Everything worked perfectly. Ceiling fans and air con in every room, even ceiling fans on the terrace - amazing. The communal hang out with its hammocks and cool breeze and view of the pool was a chill place to lounge in too. Alif, the manager was so kind and helped us with scooters and booked us a Mangrove Tour. Wish we could’ve stayed here for our entire time in Langkawi but alas it was fully booked (unsurprisingly). Highly recommend.
