Beautiful environment, high up in nature. The rooms are well thought and the pool and relaxing area just lovely. Be aware that you need your own transport or to use Grab as you’re too far to walk to amenities. That’s what makes it so peaceful and special.

Loved everything. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Very happy with the stay there. Recommend everyone to stay there. The next time I’m going to Lamgkawi definitely staying here again.

Beautiful surroundings, great property manager, good TV Channel options and very quiet & private. It was great to see Reinhold again.

The bed mattress gave me a sore back but otherwise everything was excellent. We had a couple of minor issues but the property manager fixed them immediately.

The location and facilities are superb, a quiet, peaceful and natural garden setting in the middle of Langkawi foothills, with a southerly aspect and views through the trees. The staff are all very helpful and strive to make your stay a special and memorable one.

Ranis Lodge does not provide meals although rooms have small but well equiped kitchenettes. You will definitely need a scooter or car to get around the island and either eat out at numerous location choices or visit the local mini or larger supermarkets - the staff at Ranis Lodge can help you with your scooter/car hire needs.

Total relaxation! The views are magical from every room as well as when seated in the outside area. We loved watching the wildlife especially the monkeys. The beds and pillows are very comfortable with modern bathroom and kitchen. We also hired a car at a reasonable price. You’re right in the centre of the island which makes ideal if you’re wanting to explore the island. What made Ranis Lodge extra special was Alif. Always a WhatsApp away and always ready to help with any queries. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to return.

Everything perfect

This stay was an absolute 10 out of 10!! We enjoyed everything; the pool was great, the facilities and love and attention they had for guests were also very pleasant; we could rent scooters at the location, had lovely tips to do on the island, and the apartment had everything! We even spotted a rare species of monkeys just in front of our apartment, such a special experience!

Absolutely amazing place! You can feel that the owner and manager really cares about their guests and their comfort. Its such an amazing and gorgeous place to relax, the property itself is beautiful and surrounding views are pristine! One of the best places we stayed ever! So many trees, flowers! One of the best things that sometimes wild monkeys migrate through the property and you can see tens of them jumping through the trees. Very much recommend and will definitely comeback!
