Centre-Ville Guest House

The historic guest house has a lot of charm. Morné welcomed us warmly on arrival and was attentive throughout our stay. We received excellent hospitality throughout, all the staff were welcoming, friendly and polite. We appreciated the finer touches of home baked rusks and sherry in the room and a lovely fire in the lounge. Perfect for a chilly June evening. The breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to our next visit.

The location was ideal, being close to the main road through Franschhoek and all facilities, but in a very quiet situation. The hospitality shown by all the staff was exceptional. They could not do enough to make our short stay Memorable. We would both like to return in the future. I would highly recommend this guest house.

A gorgeous home from home. Our hosts were delightful and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. It was cold and rainy in Franshoek when we stayed but they laid a table in the dining room and lit the fire so we could eat in as it was too cold to venture out. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and would definitely recommend it and stay again! It is a stones throw from shops and restaurants with easy off street parking. The rooms are gorgeous with comfy beds. What’s not to ❤️

There was a massive storm when we stayed in May. A power outage was experienced in large parts of the W.Cape. So our 2 day stay expanded to 4 days. The staff were fantastic - helping us with whatever we needed. Mornay has the biggest welcoming smile and personality to go with it. During the storm, we enjoyed a lovely evening by the fire with other guests. It felt like 'home' 😊 Thank you!

The location, service, and staff were just wonderful.

We so enjoyed our stay at the guest house, it was so old worldly and full of history and the room was and beds were very comfortable. Morne made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We hope to be back.

A wonderful home from home. Fantastic hosts with beautiful bedrooms & deliciously comfortable beds. This hidden gem is two minutes walk from the centre of Franshoek. There is nothing not to like - fantastic breakfast & thoughtful touches. As always thank you for making our stay so memorable.
