Mangia's Himera Resort

Approach the holidays really nervously, as we had stayed at a mangia hotel in sardinia in June and it was a disaster zone. Thankfully this resort may share the name and the staff do were the same uniform but that is where the similarities end. Lovely, friendly resort. Small enough to be intimate but large enough to give you space. Spotlessly clean, our room was often made up whilst we were at breakfast by out wonderful lady mariella. Always cheery and helpful. The playmaker were great. Lovely to see them just sit with the older guests for just a chat. Lots of activities for those whom had the energy. Not too obtrusive or pushy. Food was excellent and plentiful. Always replenished. Tables were clean and cutlery replaced as soon as become free. Reception were helpful booking taxis and general advice about trains. The hotel is a little remote. The nearest town is around an hours walk along roads with no pavements. A taxi was around 10 euro each way. Will definitely return.

We were there with family and friends for 7 days to celebrate our daughters wedding in a location near by. The resort Director Matteo was excellent he was very accommodating to all our requests and made sure all our guests were comfortable. We will not hesitate to highly recommend The Mangia Himera resort in Campofelice di Roccella.

The hotel is reasonable, almost all-inclusive, but it has very good cleaning staff, Mery and Maria are very nice and helpfull. The best service in the hotel.

We have has an amazing relaxed time helped by Mery, who was a great member of the staff and she kept our room very clean and tidy for us after a fun day at the pool.

Merry was so friendly and she was adoing an amazing job… Food was amazing.. Also there was lots of fun activities to do…..
