This was an amazing stay at a wonderful.property. We stayed in a Lilico suite which was fabulous. The on site restaurants are superb as well with spectacular views. All the staff are so lovely and all the penguin viewing platforms on the property were a real highlight for us. Soooo close to the these cute little fellas and we shared each night with 2 other people. The communal kitchen and big fire each night are great bonuses. The whole concept of the property is so catefully planned. Loved our stay....you should stay at least 2 nights. Thank you to everyone at The Cove. We will be back next year.

Absolutely nothing!?

The most amazing place to stay, we had a cliff to villa. Everything you need is there. The breakfast was fantastic too. Can't wait to return one day.

This place was amazing, & not just for the incredible ocean views. We stayed in a Cheviot cabin, which was extremely comfortable. Although there was only a toilet and basin it was only a short walk to the lovely shower rooms. The communal area (the Alexander Centre) has everything (& more) anyone could ever need for a self-catering holiday - a huge fully equipped kitchen, bbq facilities, comfortable lounge with books & games, an outdoor area with a variety of seating options, and an honesty bar (which helpfully included some ready-made meals for convenience). It was special to see so much wildlife - penguins on the beach at night, pademelons on the lawn and peacocks on our deck! The on-site fine dining restaurant Basalt is extremely good, as is the cafe which is open for breakfast & lunch. All the staff were very friendly, and the owner Kim makes a point of passing through the complex and the restaurant to chat to guests, which is a lovely welcoming touch.

The cabin was quite warm inside and it would have been nice to have a lockable screen door so we could leave the glass door open. Staff at Basalt didn't confirm our in-house status before finalising our bill so we didn't get our discount - waiter told us earlier to ask for it but we forgot, however it would be more professional for the restaurant to offer it.

Staff were exceptional, food at Basalt was exceptional, the accommodation at 256 unbelievable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you The Cove, we'll be back for sure.

Nothing

Wunderschöne Aussicht und traumhafte Anlage. Alls ist modern und perfekt ausgestattet. Alles was man irgendwie brauchen könnte, findet man auf der Anlage. Die Zimmer und die Aussicht aus den Zimmern sind sehr gut. Das beste Hotel in dem ich bis jetzt war.

This is an absolute gem! A lucky find for us. The moment you drive down the driveway, there is a real sense of awe. Then being met by the owner Kim was pure delight. This is a special place. Do yourself a favour and stay here and while there eat at the restaurant. It is first class.
