A/C was so noisy I had to turn it off to try and sleep. once connected to WiFi there was no internet connection. I reported the internet problem but nothing was done. to open the room door with the key you had to be a master locksmith. I reserved parking prior to arrival but no reserve parking available.

Location was great. Price was good.

Facility seems seems really outdated. Like 1980’s outdated.

It has been years since my last review of this hotel. There has been new additions to the accommodation and lodging market in Catbalogan but Rolet Hotel is still the best choice. The hotel has been renovated, outside and inside. The rooms feature new cold/hot water showers, new air-conditioning units and better WiFi connectivity. There's still limited parking ( a very scarce commodity in Catbalogan ) but it has spaces in front to still squeeze several vehicles. There's JC Foodspot and Mayong across the street and the usual stores around. Still the best choice around.

Good location coz its basically walking distance to everything you need. The male front desk officer when we check in is very pleasant opposite to the female staff the time we check out the next day. The room is okay but the there's water leak in the bidet.

Small, safe hotel in the heart of the city. Can't be faulted on price and room basic but fine. Wifi not great, even in the lobby. Reception staff were good, especially the young guy in the evening. Would recommend this hotel.

Very nice place but is becoming a bit dated. Furniture is worn and has old style TVs. Good WI-FI signal in rooms. Bed comfortable. Small comfort rooms. Quiet and clean. Front desk staff is very helpful with anything needed. Smoking allowed in lobby and common balcony area overlooking the street. Centrally located with everything you need right outside the front door.

The capital city of Catbalogan is not a bustling metropolis, so finding a good place to stay - in transit while transversing the Philippines' Eastern Nautical Highway; or in town for business, will be a challenge. But Rolet Hotel checks all the right boxes. ACCESS. Located along Mabini Avenue means that it is on the first main street upon entering the City from the north. AMBIENCE. The hotel has a very professional feel. Nothing flashy or classy, but will nonetheless give you a chance for decent eyeshut. And while power outages are common in this province, it has a good back-up power. The hotel faces JCO Foodspot - the local version of Jollibee; and Mayong's, another bakery chain.

If you are visiting Catbalogan, Samar, stay at Rolet Hotel. The hotel is located in the center of everything. The rooms are clean, although they only supply you with one tiny piece of soap and a roll of tissue. Some of the rooms however have aircon that has no remote control and I never asked why. The beds are generally comfortable despite the flimsy beddings. But what matters is- Rolet Hotel is affordable and the staff helpful.
