ROLET HOTEL

me and my family stayed at the rolet 1200 peso about 12 months ago i had nothing but trouble if they would get rid of the smart (---) Receptionist she gave us so much trouble the views from the hotel are crap if you like to look at rubbish across the street i have stayed at the Hotel Maqueda Bay twice in the past 12 months 900 peso a night it is far cheaper and the staff are bloody great and the views at sunset are to die for the hotel is built over the water and it is very clean . i am going back again in october for 16 more days yeah i am NOT staying at the rolet thats for sure if you would like to know more email me dionkn@australis.nett

Rolet Hotel in Catbalogan City was a pleasant experience for my family after a very long flight from New York City. The hotel certainly isn't like NYC's 5-star hotels but It was clean, reasonably priced and its central location in the city was perfect for our needs. The staff was very helpful and surely hospitable (I believe this latter trait is innate among Filipinos.) We also got a fantastic view of the surrounding hills and mountains from the rooftop and the spectacular Maqueda Bay sunset was a sight to behold. We plan to come back in a year or two with some of our friends and enjoy what Catbalogan City and Samar province have to offer.

I was so impressed when I stayed in this hotel. The staff are very friendly. They have really clean rooms. I will definitely come back.
