The view and nothing else

Small, no room for bags, no wardrobe, no toilet set lid, no mirror and cabinet in the bathroom, table was unstable, parking awkward, wind noises through unsealed front sliding door and window was not enjoyable while awake and mostly kept us awake when going to bed for the night, consequently a poor sleep, but worst of all we had not read the reviews before booking. The same issues have been voiced on reviews including last year and have not been addressed. My main concern is the lack of sleep due to the wind noise, Is a potential issue for those travellers who may be driving fatigued. Come on owners, you need to show you care. We actually opted to book elsewhere and not stay the last paid night so I wasn’t going to be too fatigued to drive to our next destination. I recorded the wind noises if anyone wants a copy.

This property is located in a walking distance to tekapo town. It is absolutely beautiful in the snowy season. It was tidy, warm, and quiet, and the heat pump was already turned on for us upon arrival. An absolute perfect space for 2 people.

Bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. Very disappointing for the price paid. Also the bathroom could use a vanity, or at least somewhere to place toiletry items
