"facade renovation of exterior, rooms are dated and creepy, at best 1 start"

This hotel is what I would call a facade renovation. the public areas (lobby, exterior) are updated to attract guests, while the guest rooms remain neglected and creepy looking, with the original windows sealed shut overseeing into the old crumbling balcony that is barely holding on for dear life. I would never stay here again, the hotel is listed as 3 starts, but it's more like a Motel 6 vibe, 1 start at most. My favorite part about my stay was the easy parking lot, however at night I felt unsafe loading my car, questionable people around the parking lot and lobby. Never again.

"Very nice stay!"

The building was very different, and nice. Rooms were comfy, and the staff was kind and accommodating. The young lady with long reddish hair ( I apologize for the terrible description and for not remembering her name) saved the day for me by allowing me to check in early, and TC saved the night by helping me park my bus at 2 in the morning! Great staff all around. Housekeepers said hello with a smile. Overall, a great experience!

Breakfast was a wide variety of foods and our room had a little kitchenette! The bed was also SUPER comfy! It made my wife's birthday trip all more amazing!

"Exactly what we needed."

The room we had was exceptional. Much larger than expected and featured a mural of Chicago. Very unique & would love to stay in the same room again when visiting near United Center.

The elevators were quite busy in the morning causing long wait times, but this is expected during breakfast. This was our only negative!

"Pricey but nice, city tax ran up the price."

Everything was exceptional! The water pressure in the sink in room 706 was low but the shower was fabulous.

Everything! The cheeseburger I ordered was not med rare like I requested, but edible.

"Perfect location for United Center event"

Awesome hotel, providing a very simple walk to the United Center, restaurants, bars, etc. Park the car and forget it! Very very nice staff. Room very comfortable, clean and spacious!

"Couldn’t Have Been Better!"

Cannot say enough great things about this hotel! Location was convenient to the Loop and United Center. The staff was genuinely pleasant and friendly. Morgan and Ricky went out of their ways to answer all of our questions and make us feel welcome. I will stay here every time I’m in Chicago.
