Hyatt House Chicago Medical/University District

The room was very nice and the shower was great; the bed was a little uncomfortable but at my age finding a comfortable bed in a hotel is very difficult.

Meriya and Brian were so friendly and professional. What a great way to check in! They made us feel right at home and valued as a guest. You can bet I'll be staying here during upcoming visits to Chicago.

I found the fridge dirty and the counter top I told the stuffs but they offer someone to clean but I clean it my self I took pictures of it

I would like to make it my designated hotel, but the price currently is too high from what I previously paid two months ago. How can I get a better rate?

We arrived a little early but had no problem checking in and getting a room. We were assigned a city view room on the 5th floor. The building itself was very impressive from the outside and didn’t let us down when we got inside. The atrium was beautiful. The gal who checked us in was amazing, funny and kind. I don’t remember her name but she had some awesome flower pants on that I loved and commented on. Mallory or Marjory maybe?? Anyway, the room was the nicest we had stayed at on our IL adventure. Quite large and roomy with a lovely view of the city. The windows were huge! Bed was very comfortable and the shower was also huge. Spent some time checking out the museum, and then had a drink in the bar. The hallways were tall and wide and bright. Wondered if we’d experience a ghost but nope! Nice green space in the front that we enjoyed walking through. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’re attending an event at the United Center. Quick 15-20 minute walk and quite safe. A 20 minute drive to O’Hare the next morning too! Great location.

Had a great stay, super convenient location to get to the United Center and a gorgeous building. Breakfast was stellar and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We checked in with Morgan and she was an absolute delight, we will definitely be returning to stay and to come say hi to her again:)
