The apartment is well stocked and very stylish. Good location although very noisy at nighttime and the windows don’t fully close.

A €500 deposit was taken on check in and I was told this was only ‘pre-authorised’ and would be refunded after checking out and an inspection of the property. Two weeks after checking I have sent multiple messages chasing up the deposit. Was told multiple times it was refunded and that the owner would send confirmation. No refund and no confirmation. I had to raised a dispute directly with my bank who were able to release the refund. Only then got a response from the owner. Very poor service

Everything was just perfect! Amazing space…couldn’t ask for anything better! Loved it and definitely will stay again here when back in Lisbon. Location was also fantastic! Thanks a lot

One of the best properties I have ever stayed. Communication with the hosts was super easy and they were super friendly. The apartment was fully equipped and also very cleaned. Bairro Alto is a great spot if you're looking to have fun with your friends.

Overall this apartment was great for our group of 5 (2 couples and 1 single, all in our 60's). A host met us to give us the code for the front gate and the apartment door. We appreciated having codes instead of keys so everyone was free to come and go. Also, the elevator was very useful for luggage and for those who didn't want to do stairs every day. The location was very good, there are several options in the neighborhood for dining, pastries, drinks, groceries. It's a little bit of a up/down walk to the nearest metro station but really not too far. Uber works great for larger groups and we never waited too long for a pick up. Although check it was 4pm and no place to store luggage, they did recommend Luggit App which was great for picking up luggage at airport and dropping it off when we requested. The local host messaged during the day to say she could meet us early but we weren't nearby so stayed with the 4pm check in. We also really appreciated the washing machine and drying rack.

We stayed 3 nights, the first night was relatively quiet, but the 2nd night there were voices on the street until at least 4am. The third night was a little better but still noisy. We had the bedroom facing the street so maybe we had the worst of it. We did check that the window/door in the room was fully closed. I think earplugs might have helped. The kitchen was equipped okay but a few more coffee pods would have been helpful. Also, a few more dish towels. Also be aware that the auto lock on the door know is on a delay so about 10 minutes after the door is opened/closed all of a sudden there is a whirring sound. This isn't a negative, but something to be prepared for. It also would have been helpful to have some tourist information/booklet in the apartment - maybe we just missed it.

Location. In the heart of Bairro Alto. Some street noise late at night but that goes with the territory. 3bed/2bath. Good air conditioning. Bath towels were large and soft. Decent shower. Enough coffee for first morning.

Unfriendly/Unhelpful host: Felt like he was annoyed to have to talk with us. Bad keypad door lock, so only 1 key for 6 people. Host didn't care. No attempt by host to get extra keys or fix keypad while 6 of us had to coordinate 1 key for the entire stay. Hard to recover from that experience. Less than 1 roll of toilet paper in apartment. No sponges/wash cloths in kitchen. No paper towels or napkins. Very small bedrooms - no room for even a chair or night stand - 1 room was too small to even keep luggage in the room; closet doors couldn't open properly because they hit the beds. Other than the tight bedrooms and goofy closets (how about using slider doors, or no doors, instead?) the rest is fixable - if the host decides to care.

Excellent location. Although in the heart of lively Bairro Alto once indoors, it was quiet, and the apartment was extremely comfortable.

Not really a dislike, but we could have done with more wardrobe/drawer space in the bedrooms
