Anna Belle Elegant AgriResort

We had the distinct pleasure of dining at this elegant hotel perched in olive and lemon groves high above Sorrento. Sitting on the slate tiled terrace, we enjoyed a balcony panorama from Ischia to Vesuvio but that wasn't even the best part! Panko crusted breadsticks hand rolled by the chef alongside an amuse-bouche and a welcoming glass of prosecco set the scene for thoroughly delicious food. Indeed we so loved our meal that we spoke to the chef on leaving congratulating him for his deft reinvention of traditional regional recipes. My only regret is that I did not leave room for the Riccotta Pera Cake that I know would have been a delight. While we were staying at a nearby villa, this hotel is indeed elegant and slow easy luxury if the gorgeous pool and lobby were any indication. Do make sure that this location is in your Sorrento itinerary. Bellissima!

Abseits der Massen, dennoch ist man schnell in Sorrent und auch die Amalfiküste ist einfach zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat nur wenige Zimmer, bietet Ruhe und Erholung mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick auf Sorrent und den Vesuv. Das gesamte Personal ist unglaublich bemüht und zuvorkommend. Zum Frühstück wird alles serviert was das Herz erfreut.

When we were planning our wedding and honeymoon, my then fiancee scoured all the reviews and identified Anna Belle as the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. She couldn’t have been more right. Anna Belle is literally a piece of heaven and will always have a special place in our hearts. The hotel’s location provides serene tranquility surrounded as it is by olive and lemon trees and gardens growing fresh ingredients onsite. This is coupled with the breathtaking vista overlooking the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius in the background. It’s a view you could never tire of. The rooms are also sizeable, well decorated and comfortable. If all that wasn’t enough already, now we get to what makes Anna Belle truly exceptional which is the people who provide an incredibly professional and very personalised experience for all their guests. Carmine, Luigi, Giovanna, Alex and Mario always looked after us royally and constantly went the extra mile to make our stay special. Salvatore was a great help in organising our excursions. I would encourage anyone visiting Anna Belle not to book excursions in advance. Salvatore was able to organise cheaper and much more convenient trips than the pre booked ones we had initially selected. Last and in no way least, we come to the food. Every sumptuous dish we tried was simply divine and always beautifully presented. We had several meals away from the hotel but none of those came close to the consistently exquisite Anna Belle offerings. Grazie mille a tutti e arrivederci al prossimo incontro.
