The staff were all very friendly. The room was a good size. Breakfast was OK. They brought out a birthday cake at breakfast for my daughter, which was a nice touch (they noted her birthday from her passport). The location is pretty good - about 10min walk to the beach and easy walk to some nice places to eat. Kata beach is a nice beach, but gets very busy.

The noise from the pool/bar area - music playing during the day and at night (acoustic) until about 9:30pm and can be heard from the rooms. Originally we were put in a room overlooking the pool and bar area - we had to asked to be moved because the music was so loud in the room. Even when we were moved further away though, we could still hear it. This was mainly a problem for us because we had some very early pick ups for tours (4am) and we wanted to go to bed early or have a nap in the afternoon. The daily room cleaning didn't seem to be that thorough - often still felt like the floor was dirty. They also didn't refill the bodywash/soap the entire time we were there and we ran out.

Nám sa len nepáčilo, že za vysypanie smetných košov, výmenu uterákov sme museli osloviť personál. Za celý pobyt nebola izba uprataná.

The location is excellent — close to shops, massage studios, night markets, and plenty of restaurants. The beach is only about a 10-minute walk.

The rooms have a persistent unpleasant smell — damp, almost sewer‑like, with a trace of old cigarette smoke. Our first room was on the third floor of Building 1, and the odor was so strong that we bought an eucalyptus room spray, which only masked the smell for a short time. Also there is visible water damage on both the ceiling and the walls, which likely explains the dampness and the odor.After requesting assistance, we were offered a replacement room. The second room, located on the fifth floor of Building 2, was slightly better, but the same sewer‑like smell was still noticeable. Aside from the odor, the rooms were clean. The mattress, however, was extremely hard — and we usually prefer firm mattresses, so this was surprising even for us. Breakfast options were quite limited. There were no typical items like hash browns, bacon, grilled tomatoes, or mushrooms to go with the eggs. The Asian dishes were very good, but the European options were quite mediocre.
