Ishibekoji Muan

O ryokan fica dentro de um vila idílico, mágica, silencioda e super tranquila no coração do Kyoto. Parece uma vila secreta. O atendimento foi excepcional, fomos muito bem recebidos, com um saquê de alta qualidade em um matchá excelente. Em um bar super lindo e bem cuidado. Tudo com muita calma e cuidade. Parece que nossa frequência, de viajantes acelerados, baixou na hora e ficamos muito tranquilos e relaxados. Depois fomos levados ao nosso quarto que era espaçoso e num estilo japonês clássico. O quarto era lindo, com cuidado extremo nos mínimos detalhes, mas sem exageros desnecessário. Visualmente era tudo muito relaxante. A banheira era excelente, com ótimos sais de banho. Os roupões confortáveis e de boa qualidade e as camas estão entre as mais confortáveis que já durmi, com lençóis de algodão mil fios extremamente agradáveis à pele. Todas as temperaturas (do chão ao ar) eram controláveis. E o silêncio era absoluto. Tínhamos até uma pequena sala para cerimonia de chá! Tudo isso coração de Kyoto. Parece inimaginável. Era como estar quase no interior mas em uma cidade grande. Enfim recomendo muito! e espero voltar algum dia.

An incredible ryokan hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. We also had their traditional Japanese breakfast which was a delight. Extremely clean facility with a peaceful vibe. It’s also in an excellent location to see all the nearby shrines and Higashiyama area. There is no samurai armor on the facility as displayed in the pictures, the only part that was a downside. Otherwise this was excellent!

What a gem of a place. Thoughtful detailing and exceptional design, beauty in simplicity. The staff were a delight, helpful and charming. As westerners, we appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room and the optional western style breakfast

Traditional feel

Beautiful facilities with lovely and helpful staff in the most beautiful part of Kyoto. Like walking into another world. The room was sizeable and the amenities were amazing. Dyson Hairdryers in the room for example.

I cannot think of anything I didn't like.

Stepping into this Ryokan felt like stepping into a sanctuary. It was so clean and peaceful and tasteful. We enjoyed the thoughtful touches and the fantastic location. The staff were beyond kind and helpful. They provided a beautiful vegetarian Japanese breakfast upon request. Recommended.
