Eastmount Hall Hotel

We appreciated the friendly service, the complimentary cream tea, the wide range of tv channels and the outdoor swimming pool which was not too cold. The location was good as it was walking distance from the train and and bus stations in Shanklin as well as a good pub that serves food and Shanklin Chine.

Although the water pressure was good, the shower cubicle was small and it was easy to flood the bathroom. Also be aware that the walk from Shanklin train station to the hotel is uphill.

Comfortable clean room, good breakfast choices. Hotel location was good with a short walk to Shanklin village and close to the cliff lift to the beach. We stayed in the family room on the ground floor providing excellent access to the adjacent pool. Staff were kind, helpful and friendly.

Hotel although clean and comfortable is showing signs of getting a little dated and tired in places. The shower in our room was a little small, with the shower door in need of repair. Bathroom overall could do with an upgrade.

Lovely traditional hotel , great facilities including a swimming pool and pool table. Lovely cream tea on arrival and nice breakfast included x

Pool wasn’t very clean although a whole family had occupied it all day and into the evening Rooms a little small

Breakfast was good nice and hot.poolwas lovely we had a lovely view.

The bathroom was very dated and shower hardly worked.

The staff are amazing, they made us feel so welcome. It was like being at home. We had lots of fun in the pool. It was a nice surprise to find that it was heated. The breakfasts were delicious. Free biscuits and cream tea on arrival, too!

It is just a little bit dated but that didn't bother us at all.
