GRAND BASE Hakata Station

10 minute walk from main station Layout of apartment suited our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) Washing machine. Tv with YouTube was a bonus.

The check-in process was ok, but would be easy to get overwhelmed if you were nervous with technology. I had my two teens to help me. I would have preferred a bit more natural light in the room, maybe other rooms had a bigger window, I think we probably got the last room available. But I would still happily make a return visit.

Awesome big room with good beds and facilities.

There are too many signs posted around the room with rules. Makes you feel uneasy. Remember most people are here on their holidays. This is not setting a good mood. I suggest putting all the rules in one obvious place, not on every wall possible.

Comfortable stay and convenient location.

We could not have a foot light when we switch off the ceiling light.

The space was good enough for my family of 5, with 3 double beds that accomdated us.

The layout of the rooms was bit weird. The toilet always smelled liked sewerage, even went sprayed. There was no natural light and just 2 little windows which didn't do anything. We stayed for 4 nights and from day 1 to leaving there was a big pile of dog poo outside which was not cleaned up and smelt as it cooked in the sun.

Clean and spacious, managed to get a good deal for a triple room.

I was given the room on level 1, the wall is not sound proof. you can hear people walking through the main door and pressing the passcode. Fortunately, it wasn’t too crowded during my booking.
